Cosmic Hemp & Charcoal "Warosoku" Candle

Cosmic Hemp & Charcoal "Warosoku" Candle

Each layer of wax is applied by hand to form a traditional Warosoku candle.

Named “Rasen”, meaning spiral, this candle symbolises the connection and harmony among all living things, inspired by the spiral form of human DNA.
Crafted from haze wax blended with hemp charcoal powder produced in Miyakojima, Okinawa, it embodies the natural purity and balance rooted in Japanese tradition.

Hemp (asa) has long been considered a sacred plant in Japan, used in Shinto rituals such as shimenawa (sacred ropes), suzu cords, and gohei. By incorporating hemp charcoal, this candle evokes a sense of spiritual harmony and cleansing.

A fragrance-free Warosoku candle, it burns with a gentle, steady flame, ideal for meditation, reflection, or creating a calm, sacred atmosphere.
The wax never drips: it evaporates.

A Japanese candle with a wish to purify mixed with Haze wax. In Japanese culture they find the “transience” of a candle that will eventually disappear beautiful. The beauty of Warosoku's flame is that it has the same transience and integrity as cherry blossoms. People are moved when they discover the beauty of transience and integrity. Being moved by something creates room in your heart, and that room is spiritually fulfilling.
